Hi! I’m Finn McGowan, a video editor based in Melbourne, Australia.

I’m a versatile editor with extensive experience, specialising in trailers and TV promos. I’ve cut documentaries, music videos, ads and plenty of corporate content.

I have a very strong grasp of tone and genre as well as knack for playful short-form edits - especially in comedy and the surreal.

I can cut with Premiere, Avid MC, Final Cut X and DaVinci Resolve.

I’ve worked in the film industry for 16 years, mostly as a freelance editor, but also as a director, cinematographer, camera operator and post-production supervisor.
